Hot, hot, hot is the Fox Theater - the least favorite venue in the East Bay, with its low stage height and poorly designed floor. If you hope to see the musicians, you should be 6 foot plus. The Gin Blossoms, unfortunately, have shed their catchy, scratchy garage rock for darker, more Black Sabbath style dirges. I was hoping they could deliver a show comparable to their Warfield appearance from back in 2006. It's a bit hard to swallow from this band, considering Ozzy and company did it best.
